Ian McChesney-Seating Sculpture

 This seating sculpture is by an artist named Ian McChesney,It was used in a medical centre in the Republic of Ireland.I chose to look at this as it coincides two elements,it is both a seat and also a sculpture.I like this idea as these are elements that I feel are important in the space.I would like the seating to look visually dynamic and entices both Lucy and the users to want to sit,lie,stand etc.I want the occupants to visually enjoy looking at both the space and the seating in which they sit.

 I like this image as it is aesthetically impressive and sharp,the use of materials in this image hs given me an  the idea of using a shiny based plastic coating for the interior of my space.I think the way it physically looks and the actual texture of the material also ties in with my work.I've found that alot of today's objects are made from this sort of material such as iPhones,televisons and computers.In my opinion it would work alot better than maybe just paint or a matt material,as the space is interactive this would also allow the space to be a bit more original
